Ramana

I had been to Kanchipuram with my sister in 1969 when I was 22 years old, for my first darshan of Him. He was closeted in a room with someone and we were waiting outside.
After a while He came out in a Kaupeenam Loin Cloth and Dandam in one Hand. He climbed up the well and raised both His Hands in blessings to us!
Being the Sarvangnan, the All Knowing One that He is, He gave us a glimpse of Ramana Bhagavan, knowing that our family were staunch devotees of Ramana for many Decades!
I was simply swept away!

The Vyakarana Mahabhashya of Patanjali uses the word 'Kanchi' and it can be thus understood that the word Kanchi also has a Sanskrit base.
